VISION

She founded The Positivity Academy – an executive coaching and leadership training firm, in 2015 to address the alarming rate of disconnected workplaces across the globe.

During her 14+ years of leadership experience, Kim discovered that a major reason people stop exceling in their career is they lack positioning power. Leaders who are often overlooked have trouble illustrating and articulating their value. They also have trouble connecting and developing the leaders around them.

Kim and her team have been able to support the growth and development needs of thousands of influencers through her coaching, speaking and training solutions.

GIVE BACK

The inspiration behind The Positivity Academy came as a result of a great tragedy. In March 2012, Kim and her husband’s life changed forever from the sudden loss of their daughter at only 5 ½ months into the pregnancy. Kim’s care was so exceptional that it led her to teach organizations how to adopt a People First mindset internally so that customers have extraordinary experiences. After their recovery, they made a commitment that year to support the National Preeclampsia Foundation. Over the past 8 years, they have supported the annual Promise Walk for Preeclampsia. Today, Kim serves as the Board of Directors Chair To learn more about the Foundation, visit www.preeclampsia.org. In 2020 Kim and Terrell launched The Lauren Kelly Fund in honor of their daughter. The goal of the fund is to support Preeclampsia Foundation initiatives that address health disparities facing African American families. To support the fund, go to www.laurenkellyfund.com
